  • RYA Level 1 Weekend

    Learn the basics. A weekend-long introduction into sailing, no experience needed. We help you get your sea legs by using double-handed boats and a 1:3 instructor ratio to make the learning transition as comfortable as possible.

     

    We will aim to cover the RYA Level 1 syllabus but please note that this is weather dependant and there is a set checklist the participants need to achieve before they pass.

    Take the next step. Available to those who already hold their RYA Level 1 certificate. Learn more boat handling skills in double and single-handed boats, working towards the RYA Level 2 certificate.

    Push yourself. Fine-tune your boat handling skills on our intermediate sailing course, over 2 days we will aim to cover the RYA Level 3 syllabus. Participants must hold an RYA Level 2 certificate before they can take this course.

    Throw yourself in. Our 5-day intensive learn to sail week is the perfect option for complete beginners. We will aim to cover the RYA Level 1 and 2 syllabuses over the course of the week.

    Join us for an intensive weekend of race training, aimed at club racers looking to improve their racing skills in their chosen boat. Please contact the centre directly if you would like to bring your own boat!

    Private tuition allows you to progress at your own rate on a 1 to 1 or 1 to 2 basis with an instructor. The world is your oyster with these sessions, so contact your preferred centre to discuss options to suit your needs.

  • RYA Seamanship Skills

    This course focuses on boat handling skills such as man overboard recovery, picking up a mooring and sailing backwards. Get a deeper knowledge of sailing theory and learn more advanced rope work. You will also be able to sail in more challenging conditions and become completely independent in your sailing.

    We will aim to cover the RYA Seamanship Skills syllabus but please note that this is weather dependant and there is a set checklist the participants need to achieve before they pass.
