  • RYA Multi-Hull Instructor Endorsement

    Transfer your multi-hull skills into an instructor endorsement with this 2-day course. Learn how to teach RYA courses in multi-hulls using our fantastic range of Topper, RS and LaserPerformance boats.

    Please note: this course is weather dependant and will need a minimum of 3 participants before it can run. You will also need to demonstrate pre-entry level sailing skills in a multi-hull to enable you to pass this course.

    Timings:

    9:15 – Arrive at the Centre to sign in for your course.

    9:30 – Meet the instructors

    Meet instructors outside of ASSC main office where you will be briefed and issued your sailing kit and the instructors will show you the location of the changing rooms, toilets, lockers and drying rooms. (See notes below re clothing and equipment)

    10:00 – Sessions start

    12:30 to 13:30 – Break for lunch

    There is a cafeteria onsite to purchase lunch if required and there is plenty of room for participants to sit and enjoy their packed lunch whilst enjoying the amazing views of the harbour.

    13:30 – Afternoon sessions commence

    16:00 – Finish sessions afloat and de rig

    16:15 – Debrief and get changed

    16:30 – Depart

  • RYA Advanced Instructor Endorsement

    The RYA Advanced Instructor Endorsement is the next step in your instructor career to enable you to teach the RYA Performance Sailing Syllabus. Over 2 days we teach you the ins and outs of working with performance boats and teaching techniques to go with them.

    Please note: this course is weather dependant and will need a minimum of 3 participants before it can run.

    9:15 – Arrive at the Centre to sign in for your course.

    9:30 – Meet the instructors

  • RYA Marine Radio Short Range Certificate (SRC)

    The RYA Marine Radio Short Range Certificate (SRC) is the minimum qualification required to operate marine VHF radio equipment on a UK flagged vessel. This includes both fixed and handheld equipment with and without Digital Selective Calling (DSC).
