Youth and Junior Open Training

Our Youth and Junior Open Training has been developed by the watersports centres to help create more opportunities for children to participate in sailing. This series of weekend and week-long clinics will provide opportunities to sailors who can train with high level coaches at Andrew Simpson Watersports Centres.

Across our UK based watersports centres, we have a series of clinics available throughout the winter offering class specific coaching in Optimists, Lasers, RS Feva's and 420's. With clinics and event support also available in the summer, ran at our overseas centre in Lake Garda, Italy.

We are proud to be working with ASWC partners and supporters Nautivela and Olimpic Sails and the UK Laser Association to offer top quality training to youth sailors of all levels and look forward to seeing some high-quality training on the water.

To make this level of sailing accessible to all, and in line with the Andrew Simpson Foundation’s charitable objectives, we are pleased to be able to offer equipment and training subsidies to those who may not ordinarily be provided with the opportunity to participate. If you feel like you would benefit from support for this training series, then please contact hermione@andrewsimpsonfoundation.org for an application form.
